65. Forever Young 

When some nerds ask me my age, I tell them I am 16. It's like I want to beat Bryan Adams at his own song...18 when I die. 

Well, it's all in the head and how you feel. I feel like I am 16 right now; this had been my best age as a li'l girl and I feel li'l once again. And now I say, this is the best time of my life. Everything is so beautiful and I can easily say " Life is one big beautiful party." So, party on people and throw those 'terrible' thoughts out of your system. It makes you feel so much better.

So, today evening, when I touched down at Delhi, I was listening to one of my favourite songs; Forever Young by Alphavile. The energy it gave to me when I was 16 and the energy it gives me now to be what I am, is far more than just amazing. The lyrics, the music and the voice does mesmerize me and I had always wondered what this song is all about. It's simply magic!

Alphaville is a German synthpop group which gained popularity in the 1980s. The founding members were Marian Gold (real name "Hartwig Schierbaum", born 26 May 1954 in Herford, North Rhine-Westphalia), Bernhard Lloyd (real name "Bernhard Gößling", born 6 June 1960 in Enger, North Rhine-Westphalia), and Frank Mertens (real name "Frank Sorgatz", born 26 October 1961 in Enger, North Rhine-Westphalia). The band was at first named "Forever Young" before changing to "Alphaville". They are best known for their three biggest hits, "Big in Japan", "Sounds Like a Melody" and "Forever Young".
