53. Anjan Dutta can sing!!

23rd of February, 2013 gave me a brush with a phenomenon I had been hearing ever since I was a kid. Nachiketa, Suman and socialist singers of sorts had me wondering if I would ever get a chance to be a part of a concert of the magnitude that only I would be able to decipher inside me. And then Anjan Dutta comes to the city to perform and boy, is he a performer? Wow! I was left applauding after every song with the rest of the jam-packed crowd at the ITA till my palms were stinging and had turned crimson in parts.

 

At 59, the man has all it takes to be a rockstar par excellence. Superb! Anjan, thankyou, you have given me more reasons  than one to remember you and your songs for a long time.
