31. ON A RANDOM SEARCH FOR MYSELF........

When I look at myself in the mirror, the only thing I see is a woman who loves people...who knows that this life that she has is not hers...it belongs to the people who need her..need her love and care! And that is what I wish to do henceforth! 

                          ........cause the world needs someone to wake up and take responsibility for everything!!

30. My INK-BLUE Jacket

Nameri was pretty cold when we visited it in the middle of January this year. We stayed at the Nameri Eco Camp and had the time of our lives; eating and trying to keep ourselves warm by sitting around the huge bonfire that they had lit under huge trees, which are better known as "bhelu" trees in the local dialect, ie, Assamese But it was so cold, I just couldn't sleep one night! However, my jacket, my ink-blue jacket, which I had bought in Kolkata off one of the streets, came in handy and soon after I wore it, I felt I was wrapped in a 'blanket of comfort'. 

The next few days, I decided to keep wearing the jacket for the sake of keeping myself warm from the biting cold.

27. My Red Glasses

I have always abhorred wearing glasses as the popular cliché “boys don’t make passes at girls who wear glasses” would jangle in my ears. But unfortunately so, I had to take glasses when I was just twelve years old and had to live with wearing huge white rimmed glasses all throughout my school and college years. Poor me! L

However, Dad got me my first contact lenses when I was in the first year of my graduation and I was happy as happy could be. I could do up my eyes the way I wanted to and didn’t have to hide them behind big rimmed glasses. I started experimenting with different colours for my eyes and came up with innovative ideas.

But recently, I got this lovely pair of red-rimmed glasses and I felt I could carry it off pretty well with some of the dresses. Though it all depends on what sort of ensemble you decide to wear it. Glasses don’t suit with all dresses, so we got to be smart and think with what we will wear it with! And actually have fun!
